La Buissonniere is a cosy gite deep in the Normandy countryside, quiet, secluded and tranquil. We are open all year round and offer ANY-DAY changeovers to help guests with their travel options. Shortbreaks, minimum of 3 nights, are welcome. Part of what was once an original french farmhouse where the only passing traffic is our free-ranging chickens, our comfortable ground floor accommodation sleeps 4 but a cot can be provided (making 5) by prior arrangement. With no stairs to climb up or fall down it is perfect for young and old alike. Besides the opportunity to see woodpeckers, buzzards, deer and other wild life, you can also meet our sheep in the paddock, two friendly black cats, and a handful of gentle cattle during summer months. With ample room for parking, we also welcome motorcyclists and can offer covered storage if required. There is plenty of space for the children to play and for the adults to soak up the solitude by relaxing and recharging, but if your creat ive side needs stimulation for photography or painting there is more than enough subject matter to keep you occupied. We are well placed for many tourist attractions, historic towns and WW2 sites, not to mention the fantastic beaches in the Baie du Mont St. Michel. However, if you just crave rustic relaxation, peace and tranquility, then that is what our gite at La Buissonniere is all about and we think you will certainly find it very hard to beat.
