Auvers-sur-Oise - sur les pas des Impressionnistes
Présentation :

Plus d'information :

Auvers-sur-Oise offers several thematic walks retracing the lives of artists:
- Van Gogh Walk
- Daubigny Walk
- Impressionists Walk

Panels depicting paintings created on site are scattered throughout the village, allowing visitors to visualize the landscapes that inspired so many Impressionist masters.

The village is also renowned for its Artists' Houses, all labeled as Illustres Houses. Among them:
- The Charles-François Daubigny Workshop-House, famous for its walls painted by the artist himself, offering a unique glimpse into the creativity of the era.
- The Doctor Gachet House, which exhibits works and reveals the doctor's medicinal plant garden, a singular character and friend of Van Gogh.
- The Émile Boggio Workshop-House, still inhabited by his great-nephew, Xavier Boggio, an artist in his own right who regularly opens his workshop to visitors.
- The Ravoux Inn, where Van Gogh spent his last 70 days. A moving tour of his room is complemented by a biography and a film about the artist.

To discover the village at one's own pace, several options are available for visitors:
- Pedestrian walks along picturesque streets and paths leading to fields.
- Cyclable routes such as the Auvers-sur-Oise Loop, combining cultural discovery with immersion in nature.
- The London-Paris Green Avenue, a 470 km route that traverses Auvers following the slopes.
