Lac du Bourget

Following the lake towards the Chautagne region, one crosses the GR® 65, a historic trail that is part of the Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle pilgrimage route, offering unobstructed views of the Jura. To the south, the summits of the Dent du Chat and Molard Noir are very popular hiking destinations. Near Chambéry, several routes allow one to walk in Jean-Jacques Rousseau's footsteps, an author who was inspired by the beauty of this region for his works.

The Lake of Bourget, at the crossroads of mountains and crystal-clear waters, is thus an ideal destination for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and water sports aficionados.
