The Departmental Museum of Revermont, nestled at the heart of the village of Cuisiat, occupies the renovated building that formerly housed the town hall and school. This museum invites visitors to explore the specificities and heritage of this region, once renowned for its vineyards and clay soils used in the famous Meillonnas pottery. A turn-of-the-20th-century boys' classroom has been reconstructed to offer a time-travel experience, enhanced by a collection of toys and class photos gathered from Revermont between 1885 and 1939, which enrich the visit.
A unique feature of this museum is its conservatory kitchen garden, which houses over 650 local plant varieties, some curious or long forgotten. This educational garden highlights traditional and current uses of plants, gardening techniques, knowledge transmission, and biodiversity conservation, all displayed along the paths of the garden.
