Open all weekends (Saturday 2 pm to 6 pm - Sunday 2 pm to 6 pm) and additionally during school holidays (Zone A) from Tuesday to Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm (closed on Mondays and public holidays).

About one and a half to two hours are necessary to explore the Museum's collections, which occupy slightly more than 950 m².
Guided and commented tours mainly focus on tracing the living conditions of railway men and Ambérieu from 1856 onwards, without neglecting the technical aspects related to their profession.
During the visit, visitors are invited to follow the explanations provided in front of the main reconstructions (some of which are animated): the steam locomotive, lampworking, electric machinery, braking system, signal cabin, railway station ticket office, dormitory and hearth, as well as the medical room ...
5 € per adult - free for child under 12 years accompanied 4 € per adult in groups of over 10 people. 40€ package for groups of up to 10 people.
