Participate in an amazing Indoor Spectacle Tour.
In the attic of the Castle, through the magic of sound, light, and imagery, meet King René of Anjou. Countless opportunities to encounter historical figures: Joan of Arc, Philip the Good, and to discuss the Hundred Years' War, the Middle Ages, and the Renaissance.
Finally, resonate with the arts of the era, featuring music, painting, and poetry.
Discover an exceptional scenography.
The first floor of the Castle is staged to present some previously sketched themes: the House of Anjou, Anjou and Europe, Chivalry and tournaments, Courtly Love and the Angevin Cross that later became the Lorraine Cross!

Explore two 17th-century gems installed at the heart of Baugé's Hôtel-Dieu: an apothecary and a Baroque chapel.

In a room entirely covered with panelling, the Apothecary is one of the most beautiful in France. It showcases a collection of over 600 boxes, pharmacy jars, and other containers.

Then tour the exhibition "from body care to soul care." A collection of more than a hundred objects, furniture, and paintings illustrate the themes of pharmacopoeia during the modern era, medicine and its treatments, as well as life in an Hôtel-Dieu in the 17th century.
Finally, admire the 17th-century Chapel with its gilded wooden altarpiece.
