More information :

Aubazine also offers, outside the town, several other tourist attractions: the peaceful Coiroux Park (tourist and sports center, 165 hectares of forest and lake, 7.4 km of hiking trail, ...), a dolmen, a cromlech, the Roche Bergère hermitage, ..., and especially the "Monks' Canal".

The Monks' Canal is an exceptional artistic work built in the 12th century by the monks of the abbey to supply water to the monastery and village. Long at 1.7 km and sometimes along a cliff face, it also forms a path that is enjoyed each year by tens of thousands of hikers.

Abbey tours:
- Saturdays and Sundays at 3 pm from January to March (minimum 5 people),
- Every day except Monday at 3 pm in April, November, and December (every day at 11 am and 3 pm during Easter holidays),
- Every day except Sunday morning at 11 am and 3 pm in May and June and from September 16 to October 31,
- Every day at 11 am, 3 pm, and 4 pm (30-minute tour at 11:45 am on Sunday mornings), from July 1 to September 15.
