Plus d'information :

The Joselière dolmen, a funerary site dating from around 3500 BC during the Middle Neolithic period, is located in the South-East of Pornic towards Bernerie, near the Joselière beach. Access is gained by following the coastal path via the oyster farm hiking circuit.

The structure of the Joselière dolmen, also known as "the Pissot dolmen," consists of a partially preserved quadrilateral mound measuring about 12 meters on each side. This is composed of an assembly of flat stones surrounded by two dry-stone walls. Inside, there is a megalithic transepted burial with four well-defined square lateral chambers accessible via a central corridor oriented south-east.

Classified as a historical monument since January 9, 1978, this dolmen underwent partial restoration in 1984. Guided visits are occasionally organized by the Intercommunal Tourism Office of Pornic in collaboration with the AMER association (Association Megalithes en Retz) under the title "Meet Our Passionates" to explore local megalithic sites.
